Nuremberg is easy to reach by train, bus, or car, and well connected by air through Nuremberg, Munich, and Frankfurt airports, with daily connections to Paris and Amsterdam. Travelling by Sleeper Train
Most European sleeper trains terminate in Munich - from there, it's about one hour by ICE to Nuremberg Central Station. A few routes pass through Nuremberg directly.

Travelling by Ship
Nuremberg sits on the Main-Danube Canal, so river cruise ships from both directions - the Rhine/Main from the west and the Danube from the east - call here. You can board at one end and disembark in Nuremberg. Most cruise lines also offer official pre-cruise hotel extensions in Nuremberg.
